A Malagasy Ariary banknote issued by the Central Bank of Madagascar. This issue bears the signature of Le Gouverneur Frédéric Rasamoely. The front of the 200Ar note shows the ornamental carvings, known as "aloalo", that are used to decorate tombs in the south-west. On the reverse are images of a village gate and traditional Malagasy huts.
