Postage Stamp
A black, yellow and red airmail stamp depicting teacher, activist and later politician, Jean Ralaimongo, who campaigned for Madagascar to become a départment of France. It was issued on 14 October 1971 and has a face value of 25 francs. The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is from Majunga (Mahajanga), dated 5 January 1972.
