Postage Stamp
A commemorative stamp depicting a boy and girl holding a pen nib, rifle and spade (roughly forming the outline of Madagascar) in celebration of the youth as one of the 'five pillars of the revolution'. It was issued on 28 July 1978 and has a face value of 25 ariary (125 francs). The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is dated 1987.
