A commemorative stamp depicting columns of marching soldiers with the Malagasy flag being carried at the head and a military plane flying overhead, marking twenty years since the establishment of the Malagasy armed forces. It was issued on 26 June 1980 and has a face value of 50 francs (10 ariary). The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is indistinct.
