Postage Stamp
A commemorative stamp depicting figures in combat and wrists in shackles, marking 40 years since the bloody popular uprising against the French colonialists in Madagascar. It was issued on 29 March 1987 and has a face value of 60 francs (12 ariary). The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is indistinct.
