Postage Stamp
A commemorative stamp depicting the Sarimanok, a vinta boat sailed in 1985 from Bali to Madagascar across the Indian Ocean to demonstrate and test ancient seafaring techniques. It was issued on 15 April 1987 and has a face value of 150 francs (30 ariary). The stamp is cancelled with a postmark that is a ballpoint pen scribble.
