Riley is off to explore the African island of Madagascar! He is joined by his Cousin Alice, Aunt Martha, and Uncle Max (a world-famous biologist).
They will be working with a film crew to document Madagascar's strange and unique wildlife.
Their goal is to find the mysterious aye-aye, a rare lemur that only comes out at night. Legend has it that spotting an aye-aye brings bad luck. Is the legend true? Riley isn't sure he wants to find out!

About the Authors and Illustrator (From the Back Flap)

Amanda Lumry is from Bellevue, Washington. Her interest in photography has blossomed since her parents bought her a camera in second grade. In June 1999, she graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University after studying photography in the Visual Environmental Studies Department.
Laura Hurwitz is from Connecticut, where she lives with her big family and numerous pets in a house that is never quiet. Long ago, she studied English at Yale University, and still remembers some of things she was taught. When she isn't writing, she loves to travel, read, and listen to music.
Sarah McIntyre studied Russian and art history at Bryn Mawr College. Her travels have brought her to London, where she runs an art gallery. She loves to steal away from work to wander with her sketchbook through the city's alleyways and old dockyards.
