Andrianampoinimerina gave the name ADAM to the son whom he had with his ninth wife, Princess Rambolamasoandro, daughter of the Queen of Ambohidratrimo, after the first man created by ALLAH in paradise, whose existence was revealed to him by DODOKA, his secretary and Arabic astrologer, a Moor-Antaimoro half-caste, according to a chapter of the Koran.
ALLAH ADAM was thereafter declared LAY DAMA. "RA" being the honorary prefix for names of both sexes, ADAM became RADAM then RADAME and finally RADAMA.
Monsieur George RANAIVOSOA, Chairman and Managing Director of MADPRINT, awarded in 2002 the dignity of the Grand Cross, Second Class, of the National Order of Madagascar, often likes to quote Victor HUGO, who wrote: "The invention of the printing press is the greatest event in history. It is the mother of all revolutions, a fundamental renewal of forms of human expressions. Printed thoughts are imperishable and indestructible. They rush like the flight a bird towards the four cardinal points and are present everywhere at the same time..."
And in Micah 4:1, we read: "But, in the last days, it shall come to pass that the mountain of the Temple of Yahve shall be established at the top of the mountains."
To all those responsible for the distribution of the Bible, to Professor Raymond DELVAL, to Monsieur Henri POLGE, Departmental Director for the AUCH archives, to Reverend Father Jean Baptist RATSIMBA (95 years of age), our former teacher who made lake Itasy his Lake Tiberias, to Monsieur RAKOTONARIVO, former Secretary of State, we address our respects and our deep recognition.
Our sincere thanks and brotherly sentiments go particularly to Monsieur Hery RANAIVOSOA, Managing Director of MADPRINT, without whom this booklet would not have been born.
