Text from the Back of the Box
|
This remote island nation located between Mauritius and the southern end of Africa in the Indian Ocean, is slowly emerging from many decades of internal strife and unstable political Regimes. Now that tourism is beginning to take off, those who venture to Madagascar, discover a culture quite unique, landscapes that are stunning and are rich in wildlife that is to an extent unknown outside Madagascar. We find leaping Lemurs, giant bats, the largest variety of monkeys [sic] in the lightly wooded interior, birds, that we cannot even find names for and a rich sealife of migrating whales and other giant creatures that can be approached and photographed from quite close. Scenically Madagascar is exceptional and our video captures much of the beauty.
